HAAD
The health professionals who plan to work in Abu Dhabi have to first clear a medical licensing eligibility test conducted by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD) wich is the official regulatory body for the health sector. This is to ensure that the medical professionals of this Middle-east country possess a minimum level of competence.
This exam assesses the clinical knowledge, competence and skills of each registered professional. The criteria to appear for HAAD examination is working experience of 2 years, a year in surgical ward and another in any specialty care, in any hospital. With a HAAD certificate, the healthcare professionals including doctors and nurses can practice and build up a better career in Abu Dhabi.
This is an online exam consist of 150 multiple choice questions and the candidates require 60 – 70 percent score to pass the exam. The time duration of this exam is 3 hours and the valid for 3 years.
